It cleans up easily with soap and water. Oil-based paint is prized for its extreme durability and "leveling" properties, meaning it dries to a very smooth, hard finish with no brush marks. It is often preferred for high-use trim, doors, and cabinets, though it has a stronger odor and requires mineral spirits for cleanup.
